Logging In and Accessing Your CCH Research Product

How do I log in to my CCH research product now? I used to log in by clicking the CCH@Hand icon in my System Tray.

Beginning with CCH@Hand 2.0, double-clicking the CCH@Hand icon on your desktop, Quick Launch toolbar, and System Tray opens the CCH@Hand Desktop.

However, you can still quickly log in to your CCH research product using one of these methods:

Or,

Click the Start button, select Programs, point to CCH@Hand, and then click Log In to... from the "CCH@Hand" start menu that is displayed.

Or,

Open the CCH@Hand Desktop and click Go to CCH... at the bottom of the screen.

Note:  If you prefer to have the CCH@Hand icon always log you in to your CCH research product (instead of opening the CCH@Hand Desktop), you can change this option setting in CCH@Hand. Simply right-click either the CCH@Hand desktop icon or the System Tray icon and select Options. Click the General tab, and then click in the radio button next to the Log in to... CCH@Hand icon option.

Do I have to log in to use CCH@Hand?

No, CCH@Hand automatically logs you in to your CCH research product seamlessly behind the scenes. However, if your CCH research product User ID and password were not retrieved during installation of CCH@Hand, you will be prompted to enter this information.

On the Search screen, I see an option for Google™ Desktop Search, but I can’t check the box next to it. Why can’t I use this feature?
